US "Road-trip with 14 year old Granddaughter ”
What a trip!Took Granddaughter to where I was born and raised! Both queen beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping was great,clean towels, toiletries were there before we asked. Clean.. carpet needs cleaned, do NOT go barefoot in the room, that’s the only complaint. Saying that this is the only hotel I will stay at when in Santa Cruz. Comfortable and clean and a super location. Just blocks to the beach and wharf. Nice flat location so no problem walking! My transmission burned up, OPL was great on extending my stay and having to do with rental cars, couldn’t ask for better service! Thank you!!

Retired military. And as such I have traveled extensively. I have had excellent service. But, I have never had excellent customer service, maid service and an all around excellent experience. In one place. Miss Annie set it off before we arrived and kept it up are whole visit. I swear the woman does not sleep. Seen her morning, noon, and night. Maids are doing well above and beyond normal service. I goofed up and left a pair of pants on the bed. It was moved, folded, and replaced. In my experience not normal. I will always come here first when in Santa Cruz. Thank you so much.
